The late week outlook from the National Weather Service shows an increasing chance of precipitation across the region as well as a chance of some severe thunderstorms.

A few strong to isolated severe storms are possible in northeast Nebraska this morning with the primary threat being hail.

Several rounds of thunderstorms are expected to develop across parts of the region through Saturday. Some storms could be strong to severe with the greatest chances for severe weather coming late Friday and again Saturday afternoon and evening.
