Lincoln Police say no one was injured after a car slammed into a power pole near 61st and Morrill Avenue in the Havelock neighborhood Sunday morning. Sergeant Chris Vollmer says it happened around 5:00 a.m.
He says a 56-year-old woman was driving on Morrill Avenue when she swerved to miss a dirt bike that had no light. He that caused her to strike a nearby utility pole. The woman then drove to her home.
Damage to her car is estimated at $10,000. The crash also caused $10,000 damage to the utility pole. Police did not issue any citations.
