The Lincoln man arrested earlier this year for allegedly impersonating an LPS high school student for 54 days, now could face life in prison following the filing of additional charges involving new victims.
According to reporting from 1011 Now, 27-year-old Zachary Scheich’s bond was doubled from $250,000 to $500,000 by a judge on Thursday. Scheich has been in jail since his arrest in July, and now is facing a total of 15 felony charges with the amonut of victims rising to 13 people.
Scheich is now accused of:
- 1 count of first-degree sexual assault of a child
- 5 counts of first-degree sexual assault
- 1 count of attempted first-degree sexual assault
- 1 county of sex trafficking of a minor
- 6 counts of child enticement with electronic communication
- 1 count of generation of child pornography.
