An ongoing investigation by the Lincoln-Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force lead to the arrest of a 37 year old Grand Island woman Tuesday night. Sergeant Chris Vollmer says Hung Pham was spotted in a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta around 9:00 p.m.
He says Pham was speeding and committed other traffic infractions on eastbound I-80 near West O Street. During a traffic stop Vollmer says an open duffel bag was found on the passenger floorboard.
“The bag was unzipped and heat-sealed packaging suspected to contain methamphetamine could be observed inside,” Vollmer says. A search of the vehicle located four pounds of suspected
methamphetamine and $5,100 cash.
Pham was arrested and booked for possession with intent to deliver more than 140 grams of meth and possession of money while violating a drug law.
