The health advisory due to Canadian wildfire smoke that’s been in effect since Tuesday has been extended by the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department through early afternoon Friday.
Smoke generated by Canadian wildfires are being carried south into eastern Nebraska. This has resulted in periods of poor air quality throughout the week.
People at risk should avoid extensive physical activity outdoors or remain indoors with windows and doors closed. Additional information is available here
