A standoff at a northeast Lincoln business Wednesday morning ended with the arrest of the owner. Lancaster County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Ben Houchin tells KLIN News the Fugitive Task Force responded to ALLways Towing near 56th and Fletcher around 8:00 a.m.
He says Jeremie Garrison barricaded himself inside the business as they surrounded the building and threatened that he had a gun. He was wanted on two felony warrants. “He had a car inside the building, he tried to go through the garage door and we had a vehicle there to stop him,” Houchin says.
Houchin says they continued to negotiate with Garrison and he finally came out with his hands up around 10:45 a.m. He was taken to the Lancaster County jail and booked on the two warrants, Other charges related to the standoff are pending.
