Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen
Governor Jim Pillen begins his September leading a delegation of agriculture and state government officials to South Korea and Japan aiming to foster trade opportunities with the cornhusker state.
During the week-long visit, which began yesterday, the group will have multiple stops scheduled in both countries. Nebraska’s Department of Agriculture Director Sherry Vinton also accompanied the trip.
“South Korea and Japan are tremendous consumers of Nebraska agriculture products,” said Governor Pillen. “This visit will strengthen our already well-established partnerships.”
The trade mission will include visits to hydrogen facilities, engineering corporations, and meetings with South Korean and Japanese officials.
