Lincoln Police dealt with several incidents over the weekend including an armed robbery, a case of arson and a series of vehicle break-ins.

Late Saturday evening LPD Officers were called to an apartment complex in the 500 Block of South 25th .  LPD Lieutenant Justin Armstrong tells KLIN News officers found evidence of smoke damage and burn marks both inside and outside the complex.  39-year old Stanley Phan was located and arrest on 1st degree arson charges Damage is estimated around $5,000.  There were no injuries.

Around 11:30 pm Sunday night a 19-year-old Lincoln man reported he and a friend were walking near Roper Park at 5th and Adams when he was approached by an unknown male.  The suspect punched and kicked the victim before brandishing a firearm and stealing his wallet.

Lieutenant Armstrong reports some of the stolen contents were recovered in the area but about $300 in cash was still missing.  The victim received minor injuries but refused treatment.  The investigation continues.

Early Monday morning just before 5 a.m. LPD was alerted to several vehicles in the University Square Parking Garage, 101 North 14th Street, being broken into.  Lieutenant Armstrong tells KLIN News 8 vehicles had windows broken and property taken.

Police located and arrested 35-year-old Markus Lopez who was lodged in the Lancaster County jail on one count of felony criminal mischief.  The investigation continues.
