A fire Friday in a Windstream Lincoln office disrupted 911 service in parts of SE Nebraska. An early Sunday morning e-mail from Windstream reports technicians worked through the night to restore service and are making progress.
As of mid-morning, LPD reported scattered issues with 911 service. The non-emergency number, 402-441-6000 is working normally and people can use that to contact LPD if needed.
Windstream reported it expects to restore all services by noon today.
