Lincoln Police were called to A&B Auto Sales near 35th and Adams just after 10:00 Wednesday morning to investigate a theft. “Officers contacted an employee who reported seven vehicles in the lot had their catalytic converters removed sometime during the overnight hours,” says Captain Todd Kocian.
Damage to the vehicles estimated at $3,500 and the loss of the converters was estimated at $6,700. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Lincoln Police Department at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
