An 18 year old woman who was doing house cleaning work near 52nd and Yankee Hill Road has been arrested for the theft of two rings. Lancaster County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Ben Houchin says the owner called them last Thursday.
“She had placed the two rings in a wooden small bowl on top of a dresser and left. When she returned, she found that those rings were missing,” Houchin says. During their investigation they learned 18 year old Alexis Coghlan took the rings while helping another person clean the house.
“She did inform us that if she had not gotten caught she was going to sell them for a profit,” Houchin says. Coghlan was arrested on suspicion of theft and the rings were recovered.
