A Lincoln man was sentenced to life in prison on Tuesday for the murders of two men last summer.  56 year old William Wright has entered a no contest plea during a court appearance last month  and the judge amended the charges from first to second degree murder.

Lincoln Police found 61 year old Ronald George’s body in a grassy field near 3rd and P Streets. He had been stabbed three times in the neck.  That murder investigation led police to a motel near NW 12th and West Bond Street where they found the body of 49 year old Ronnie Patz.

As part of that investigation, the city landfill was searched for evidence over the course of several days.
