The Lincoln Airport has announced two upcoming special events for National Aviation Day.
1. LNK Outdoor Movie Night Sponsored by CommuteAir: Top Gun Maverick with Hangar Tour, Friday August 18, 6:00 p.m.
- Experience aviation up-close with a tour of CommuteAir’s Hangar
- Enjoy a variety of scents and flavors from a line-up of local food trucks
- Listen to guests from the Fly Like Chi Organization who will be on hand to share their story of how they are working to change the lives of kids in foster care

- Immerse yourself in Top Gun: Maverick shown on the side of a 1950’s era cold War Hangar

2. Guardians of Freedom Airshow
The awe-inspiring weekend of aviation thrills as the Lincoln Airport presents the highly anticipated Guardians of Freedom Airshow on August 26th and 27th. The event will take place on the west side of the Airport. The events includes a lineup of air performances, headlined by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. The airshow is free to attend.
