Voter Reminder: Firth Fire Protection District Ballots Due

Lancaster County Election Commissioner Todd Wiltgen is reminding voters residing in the Firth Rural Fire Protection District who have not returned their ballots for the Special Budget Override Election that ballots must be received no later than 5:00 PM on Election Day, Tuesday, August 15th.

Commissioner Wiltgen recommends that voters return their ballots promptly and not wait until the last minute. Any voter in Lancaster or Gage Counties still in possession of their ballot should return it by dropping the ballot off at their respective county’s election office.

It is too late to return them by mail.

Both ballot drop boxes are available twenty-four hours a day.

  • The Lancaster County Election Commissioner’s Official Ballot Drop Box is located on the north side of the Election Commissioner’s Building, 601 North 46th Street, Lincoln.
  • Gage County Clerk’s Official Ballot Drop Box is located on the southeast corner of the County Courthouse at 612 Grant Street, Beatrice.
