Lincoln Police say the arrests of two men and a woman this weekend are tied to the death of a 23 year old man. Sergeant Chris Vollmer says the man was found dead in his bedroom near NW 50th and West Holdrege around 12:30 Saturday afternoon.

“An evaluation of the scene led officers to suspect the death was the result of a fentanyl overdose,” Vollmer says.  During a follow-up investigation LPD officers contacted three men near 48th and Holdrege.  Vollmer says they were found in two separate vehicles.

“A search of the vehicles located 47 suspected fentanyl pills, a bottle of suspected Promethazine DM Syrup and $3,782 cash.” All three were arrested and transported to the Lancaster County Jail.

23-year-old Aidan Glenn and 30 year old Michael Smith were booked for delivering and possession with intent to deliver a hazardous drug.  21 year old Wren Chamberlain was booked for possession of a controlled substance.
