A motorcyclist is in critical condition following a Friday evening crash.

Local law enforcement responded to a collision at the intersection of N 63rd Street and Judson Street, August 4, around 8:15 p.m.

The crash involved a Honda CB250 motorcycle and a 2008 Ram truck. The motorcycle, operated by a 56-year-old man from Lincoln, was traveling eastbound on Judson Street when it entered the intersection. The Ram truck, driven by a 69-year-old Lincoln resident, was headed northbound on 63rd Street before crossing Judson.

An eyewitness indicated that the motorcycle had disregarded a stop sign on Judson Street and entered the intersection, resulting in a collision with the truck.

The motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The driver of the Ram truck was not injured. Authorities have ruled out alcohol and drug involvement in the collision, and no citations have been issued as of now.
