The Nebraska Community Blood Bank is offering an incentive to people who roll up their sleeve to donate. It’s called ‘Pint for a Pint’ and Marketing Manager Kari Lundeen says between now and September 10 anyone who donates will receive a $5 voucher for a free or discounted beverage at one of four businesses, Zipline Brewing, Kinkaider Brewing Company, Pour Craft Beer & Spirits and White Elm Brewing .
Lundeen says summer is typically a slow time for blood donors due to vacations. “August is also difficult because school is starting back up again, people’s lives are really busy and so this is something that’s out there to help encourage more people to come out and donate.”
She says the vouchers will be available at all four of their donor centers and any of their blood drives. They must be redeemed on or before October 31. Click here for more details.
