A Lincoln man suffered a broken nose after being beaten and robbed while riding his bike near 58th and Gladstone. Captain Todd Kocian says the man says a silver pickup began following him around 4:30 p.m. and he tried to get out of the way.
“He fell off the bicycle and two males exited the vehicle, punched him several times and took his bicycle and cellphone,” Kocian says. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of his fractured nose and several cuts and bruises. The total loss is estimated at $350.
