By Chase Porter Jul 28, 2023 | 12:06 PM

An investigation into doors left suspiciously ajar overnight at the Capital Humane Society has concluded with the apprehension and detention of the suspect. An all black feline dubbed the “ultimate trickster,” Grimsen.

Grimsen was was lodged in a Capital Humane Society kennel and is awaiting adoption into a loving home, preferably with lockable doors.

In a Thursday night Facebook post, Capital Humane Society staff got down to the bottom of the mystery, posting a video of the escape artists at work.

The post reads, “Staff started to go crazy knowing they shut certain doors when they left at night but those same doors would be open in the morning……then today we discovered this. Grimsen is the ultimate trickster.” The video can be viewed below.

Many on social media were quick to offer kudos and legal defense to Grimsen.

“I’m Grimsen’s lawyer. My client is innocent,” said Rachel.

Grimsen is still available for adoption, more information can be found on the Capital Human Society website.
