Out of an abundance of caution, the Hub & Soul Music event scheduled for Friday, July 28, at Union Plaza has been postponed due to the extreme heat advisory that continues to be in effect. The free concert has been rescheduled for October 13, 2023.
“The safety of our Lincoln community is our top priority and we want to make sure everyone can enjoy the magic of Hub & Soul in a comfortable and safe environment,” said Christine Weeks, event coordinator.
The show will keep the same set list. Two of Lincoln’s very own musical giants: the raucous funk singer Josh Hoyer kicking off the night followed by and R&B/Neo-Soul collective The Soul Review.
