A 17-year-old in Lincoln is in search of his left AirPod after being assaulted by a group of teenagers Sunday night.
Lincoln Police were called about 30 minutes after the incident. The victim was walking in the area of 27th and N Streets when a group of teens approached him.
Captain Todd Kocian said the group was about five or six teens. They attacked the boy, leaving him with a bloody nose, and stealing his iPhone and a left AirPod. The suspects were seen leaving in a white SUV.
Reportedly, through a location tracker app, officers recovered the phone in the area 44th and L streets, where it was lying on the ground.
The left AirPod is worth about $50, and is still missing.
