A man wanted on four felony warrants is facing several new charges after the fugitive task force arrested him late Thursday morning at the WoodSpring Suites hotel near 20th and Fletcher in north Lincoln.
Lancaster County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Ben Houchin says 36 year old Robert Ramey had warrants for drugs and weapons possession. “They did verify that he was checked into this hotel and they knocked on the door.” Houchin says a woman opened the door and they spotted Ramey on a bed. He was arrested without incident and investigators obtained a search warrant.

Houchin says deputies found 47 knives of varying lengths , a samurai sword, four throwing stars, a hatchet and an M-80 firework. They also found more than $5,000 in cash that Houchin believes was obtained through the sale of drugs along with 102 grams of marijuana, 28 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, 198 grams of edible THC, 116 grams of suspected meth, pills and cocaine.
In addition to the mushrooms, Ramey was arrested for possession with intent to deliver, possession of weapons by a prohibited person and possession of money while violating drug laws.
