Guests at the Lincoln Children’s Zoo will soon be able to see the two newest residents . The female cheetah cubs were born at the Wildlife Safari on May 8 and arrived at the zoo on June 19th at six weeks old.
Guests will first be able to see the cubs on Tuesday, July 11th at the Cheetah Chase Theater where keepers will provide them with a variety of enrichment activities to help them acclimate to their new surroundings. In the future the community will be asked to help name the cubs.
Zoo officials say they will be asking the community for help in the future with naming the two cubs.
