Lincoln Police have arrested a 61-year-old man for after the owner of Sapphire Nails at 1265 S. Cotner Blvd called to report a belated burglary around 8:30 Sunday morning.
The owner said someone entered the business by throwing a rock through the glass front door and removed cash from the register. Police say they found several areas of blood that they believe was left behind by the suspect. They also found there was damage to Gloria Deo, a neighboring business, but the suspect did not get inside.
After reviewing security video, police were were able to identify the suspect as 61-year-old Kiki Williams. Officers contacted Williams at his home and saw that he had an injury to his hand and a large amount of cash in his apartment.
Williams was taken into custody and booked for two counts of burglary and attempted burglary.
