Nebraska U.S. Congressman Mike Flood will host his first Flyover Fintech conference at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on August 2. “I am excited to welcome industry leaders and public officials from across the country to Lincoln to talk about the future of fintech, digital assets, and our global economy,” Flood says.
Flyover Fintech features a wide variety of speakers, ranging from members of the House Financial Services Committee to leading voices in the fintech industry. “That’s cryptocurrency, that’s bitcoin, that’s coinbase. We want to be the one state in the United States that is at the front of this,” Flood said on the Dan Parson’s Show.
“We’re basically going to talk about where are we going with digital assets, what are the opportunities, how do Americans make money doing this, how do we create wealth and what is the American role in digital assets across the globe.”
The event will feature two of Flood’s colleagues, Congressman French Hill and Congressman Warren Davidson. All three of them sit on the House Financial Services Committee. Flood is encouraging people interested in the future of financial technology to attend.
