Lincoln Police are investigating a two vehicle crash that sent three people to the hospital just after 11:00 Thursday night. Sergeant Chris Vollmer says a Chevy Impala was southbound on 48th Street and was attempting to turn left onto Vine Street.
The Impala collided with an Buick Lucerne that was northbound on 48th. Vollmer says the 19 year old driver of the Impala and a 20 year old passenger were taken to the hospital along with the 16 year old driver of the Buick.
All three suffered non-life threatening injuries. Vollmer says drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash. No citations have been issued yet and both cars were totaled.
