Lincoln Police are investigating the theft of construction equipment from a site near 57th and La Salle. Sergeant Chris Vollmer says a 31 year old man called police just before 1:00 Monday afternoon.
“He advised that during the overnight hours an unknown suspect cut the padlock securing the trailer and removed numerous
tools,” Vollmer says.
The long list of stolen construction equipment is valued at nearly $8,700. Vollmer says the investigation is ongoing as officers review available security video and evidence.
