Lincoln Police are investigating after a man was stabbed late Tuesday afternoon.  Officers responded to West Bond Circle and NW 12th Street about 5:20 pm Tuesday afternoon.

Captain Todd Kocian says when officers got there they briefly spoke to the 28-year-old victim who said he had been stabbed by an unknown person  somewhere near that location.

“The victim was found to have two stab wounds, one to his chest area and the other to his left arm.  He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries and remains in critical condition.”

The search continues for the suspect.
