Husker Receiver Malachi Coleman Catches Huge Donation On Kelly Clarkson Show

Incoming Husker receiver and phenom Malachi Coleman appeared on an episode of the The Kelly Clarkson Show Monday and was presented a $15,000 donation for his non-profit, Fly Like Chi.

Fly Like Chi was started by Malachi to support the accessibility of sports and arts activities for kids with in the foster care system. Their stated goal is to give kids the opportunity to discover their passions, develop their skills, and build their confidence and self-esteem.

Malachi and his sister experienced the foster system in their youth, and were adopted by Miranda and Craig Coleman.

Malachi was a football strong recruit as a wide receiver from Lincoln East Highschool, and is slated to start his freshman year at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this fall. Building up to what is sure to be an eventful senior year, Malachi and his family spoke shared his inspiring story with Clarkson.

Clarkson concludes the interview by announcing a $15,000 donation courtesy of Dude Wipes, to help Coleman and Fly Like Chi.
