3 people are dead following a shooting in Grand Island early Sunday morning.
According to a news release from the Grand Island Police Department, officers responded to an incident in the 4100 block of West Arizona Avenue in Northwest Grand Island and found the three who are believed to have died from gunshot wounds.
No shots were fired by Grand Island officers but due to the close proximity of officers at the time of the incident, the investigation has been turned over to SCALES (South Central Area Law Enforcement Services) for an impartial investigation.
Grand Island PD Administrative Captain Jim Duering indicated in the news release that the department does not believer there is a suspect at large. SCALES and the Hall County Attorney’s Office will have further details at a later time.
