A Lincoln mobile home is a total loss after a Monday afternoon fire. LFR Public Information Officer MJ Lierman when crews arrived around 3:30 p.m. they found thick brown smoke coming from all four sides of the home and heavy flames coming from the back of the double wide trailer home.

“Initially crews were going inside to search for occupants and they reported intense heat and thick smoke all the way to the floor,” Lierman says.  The decision was then made to exit the house and soon after that the roof of the house collapsed.

There was concern that a god was inside the burning home, but it was later found safe in an outside pen.  LFR says the fire caused $26,900 in damage. The cause of the fire is still undetermined.
