
Sunday, May 21st, people and pets will flock to Palmyra Nebraska for a fun filled event.
Capital Humane Society’s Annual Tails & Trails Pet Festival is this weekend located at Glacial Till Vineyard & Winery located at 344 S. 2nd in Palmyra. The event will kick off at 11:00am and the festivities will continue until 3:00pm.
The day includes activities for two-legged and four-legged attendees, music, amazing food from food trucks, numerous vendors and rescue groups, raffle packages, a 50/50 raffle, a bounce house, and more. Activities for both pets and people include yard games, pet friendly games, demonstrations by Greater Lincoln Obedience Club, dogs available for adoption, and wine/cider to enjoy.
Everyone is welcome to attend, with or without a pet. Capital Humane Society’s goal is to have 400 participants in attendance and raise $50,000. Registration is $15 for individuals 18+ years old in advance or $20 day-of the event. Children under 18 years old are free. For more information, visit capitalhumanesociety.org
This event is one of Capital Humane Society’s largest fundraising events of the year, funds raised will benefit several of their programs including the Adoption Program, Foster Care Program, Pawsitive Impact Project Program, and the Low-Cost Feline Spay/Neuter Program.
