The public is invited to Prescott Elementary School (1930 S. 20th) on Friday, May 5, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. as staff and students will host an open house, brief program, and “birthday bash” to celebrate the school’s 100th anniversary.
The open house will begin at 5:00 p.m. and feature displays showcasing Prescott’s history, community and diversity. The Centennial Celebration program will begin at 5:30 p.m. with speakers sharing stories of Prescott’s history, and a video created by LPS Library Media Services. The Prescott Birthday Bash will begin at 6:00 p.m. with live music, games, and food trucks on the east side of the school.
