Nebraska Volleyball Sweeps Spring Match at Bison Dome

Nebraska volleyball had themselves a week.

After selling out of tickets for Volleyball Day in Nebraska in the middle of the week, NU posted a sweep of Wichita State Saturday in their spring match.

The Huskers downed the Shockers 25-20, 21, 21 in front of 2,096 at the Bison Activity Dome in Central City. All 14 players appeared in the match, and the Huskers hit .318 while holding the Shockers to .178.

Harper Murray led Nebraska with 12 kills on .391 hitting. Bekka Allick added eight kills with six blocks.

Both Kennedi Orr and Bergen Reilly got run at setter in the match. The veteran Orr started and had 15 assists with two digs in the first set. Freshman Reilly played the final two sets, notching 28 assists and six digs.

Nebraska heads into the offseason looking to make rotation decisions ahead of the fall.
