The Lincoln Airport will begin it’s free outdoor movie series next month. The Disney movie “Coco” will be showing during the Cinco De Mayo celebration on May 5.
There will be food trucks on site and parking is on a first come, first serve basis beginning at 6:00. The movie will start around 8:30. Director of Communications Rachel Barth says the film will be projected on the side of an old Cold War hangar on the west side of the airport.
“We have speakers, so if it’s a nice night and you can want to sit outside on the lawn chairs or roll down your windows you can hear the movie.” The movie is free to the community but you are asked to register to attend. Click here to reserve a spot.
They have also added an FM transmitter so there will be a dedicated station to hear the movie through you vehicle speaker. No campers or tents are allowed and no alcohol will be allowed at the event.
