The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office has identified the body of a man found in a ditch near Highway 33 and SW 128th Street. Captain Tommy Trotter says they have been able to positively identify the remains as 68 year old Gary Lew of Omaha.
“Sheriff’s department criminal investigators conducted interviews with Lew’s family in Omaha that led us to the discovery that Lew had been the victim of a homicide that occurred in Omaha about a month ago.”
Omaha Police have arrested 37-year-old Jacob Thornley and 39-year-old Justin Thornley for 2nd degree murder, tampering with evidence and concealing a body. 26-year-old Braden Bongers has been arrested for 2nd degree murder and 37-year-old Christina Thornley was booked for accessory to a felony, tampering with evidence and concealing a body
The sheriff’s office is continuing to assist Omaha Police in the investigation.
