Nine Precinct Polling Place Changes Announced

There will be changes to the polling locations for nine precincts for the City of Lincoln’s upcoming primary and general elections.  Election Commissioner Todd Wiltgen released the information this week.

Election Commissioner Announces Polling Place Changes

Lincoln – Lancaster County Election Commissioner Todd Wiltgen announced today that there will be changes to the polling locations for nine precincts for the City of Lincoln’s upcoming primary and general elections.

Commissioner Wiltgen indicated that the changes will impact approximately 9,000 of the 172,000 voters in the City of Lincoln. Notices of these changes were mailed to all voters impacted yesterday. Affected voters should expect to receive the forms in their mailboxes within the next few days.

The polling location changes are listed below:

Voters in two precincts, 12 B-8 and 12 B-9, will be notified that their polling locations on Southeast Community College campus were moved from the Health Sciences Building back to the Main Building.

Notices will also be mailed to a handful of voters living in both the Oak and Saltillo 2 precincts who are eligible to vote in the City of Lincoln or Lincoln Public School elections. These voters will be notified of their temporary polling locations.

Commissioner Wiltgen indicated that over 32,000 Lincoln voters have requested early vote ballots as of the close business on Wednesday, March 22nd. Early voters of the impacted precincts will receive the notice for informational purposes only. Early Voters must return the early vote ballot to the Election Office by mail or at the Election Office’s drop box no later than 8:00 PM on the Primary Election Day, April 4th. The Election Office is located at 601 North 46th Street, Lincoln.

Any Lincoln voter may confirm their polling location on the Nebraska Voter Information Lookup website at https://www.votercheck.necvr.ne.gov.
