Lincoln Police say an 18 year old man was pulled from his vehicle at gunpoint near 27th and W Streets around 12:30 Tuesday morning. Sergeant Chris Vollmer says the two unknown suspects then drove off in his Volkswagen Passat.
Vollmer says on Wednesday around 12:45 p.m. investigators were following up on the case and saw a teenage boy filling up the stolen car at a gas station near 1st and Cornhusker Highway.
Officers took the 17 year old into custody and found a pharmaceutical amphetamine in his pocket. He was taken to the Youth Detention Center and referred accessory to robbery and possession of a controlled substance.
