A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Lincoln area until noon on Thursday. Mixed precipitation with light icing and snow accumulation up to an inch are possible.
LTU crews have been applying granular salt pre-wet with brine to arterial streets. Street conditions are wet with some slick spots. Drivers are urged to use caution Wednesday evening due to the possibility of freezing drizzle.
A Wind Chill Advisory will be in effect from from midnight to noon Thursday. Winds up to 40 mph and wind chills of 25 below zero are possible.
