Lincoln Police say a 60-year-old man had thousands of dollars of tools stolen from his semi around 7:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. Sergeant Chris Vollmer says the man parked his truck outside of a Holiday Inn near 84th and Nebraska Parkway and noticed the lock on his toolbox was damaged when he arrived for work at T.O. Haas near 24th and “O” Street.
“The victim opened the toolbox and found all of his tools were missing,” Vollmer says. The man reported 20 tools missing, mostly Milwaukee brand sockets and cordless tools. Those tools are valued at nearly $4,300.
