A man called Lincoln Police to his home near 60th and Adams around 3:00 Tuesday afternoon after finding several guns missing along with the safe they were stored in.
Sergeant Chris Vollmer says the 32 year old man said he arrived home from work and found his 30 gun safe had been removed from his home. “Secured within the safe was a Ruger .22 caliber revolver, Baretta 9mm pistol, Glock .45 caliber pistol, Remington 12-gauge shotgun, Tikka
.270 Rifle and a Ruger .22 caliber rifle.”
The total value of the firearms and safe is estimated at $3,050. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Lincoln Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
