Fire Causes $250,000 Damage To Lincoln Home

By Tom Stanton Jan 30, 2023 | 10:55 AM

No one was hurt when a house caught fire around 10:30 Sunday night near 29th and Vine.  “When crews arrived, they had visible fire and smoke on the front of the house,” says LFR Captain Nancy Crist.

She says two residents and a dog were out of the house when crews arrived.  “A second dog was found during search operations and turned over to animal control,” Crist says.

The fire started on the porch and extended into the home.   The cause of the fire is still under investigation.  It caused an estimated $250,000 in damage.

No one was injured and the residents were relocated by the Red Cross.
