Leading Economic Indicator Declines Slightly in December

There was a very slight decline (0.03%) in Nebraska’s Leading Economic Indicator.  UNL Bureau of Business Research released the details which showed 3 of the components of the index declined while 3 grew.

Dr. Eric Thompson, Director of the UNL Bureau of Business Research told KLIN News the dollar exchange rate gained .37% in December and that is positive for agriculture and manufacturing that does extensive export business.
