Governor Jim Pillen will announce his appointee to fill Ben Sasse’s vacant U.S. Senate seat on Thursday morning. The appointment will become effective on the same day.
Sasse left the U.S. Senate on January 8 to become the next president of the University of Florida.
The announcement will be made at 9:00 Thursday morning in the Governor’s hearing Room at the State Capitol.
