University of Nebraska System President Ted Carter has hired AGB Search as the first step in the national search for the next chancellor of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
AGB Search is a leading national executive search firm, and it will help Carter find the replacement of UNL Chancellor Ronnie Green, who announced his retirement in December after seven years in the role.
Carter has taken further preliminary steps by inviting nominations for individuals to take part on the UNL Chancellor Search Advisory committee. Committee members will work with AGB Search to put together position profiles, and review potential candidates and applications. Members will also determine what qualities the next UNL chancellor should possess and outline any opportunities and challenges the university currently faces.
