Wind Chill Warning Through Saturday Mid-Day

Today and Tonight

 Wind chills remain at 30 to 40 below zero with northwest winds 20 to 45 mph. Frostbite can occur on any exposed skin within ten minutes. Areas of blowing snow will also continue, mainly across northeast Nebraska and northwest Iowa, and the visibility could be significantly reduced in open areas resulting in difficult travel.

 A Wind Chill Warning remain in effect for the entire area, and a winter weather advisory for blowing snow will remain in effect through 6 pm for areas along and north of line from Columbus, Nebraska to Harlan, Iowa.

 Saturday through Monday

 Wind chill values will remain around 20 to 35 below through early Saturday morning. Gusty winds are expected to subside Friday night. A Wind Chill Warning will be in effect into Saturday morning.
