…WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING…
…WIND CHILL WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT WEDNESDAY NIGHT TO NOON CST SATURDAY…

Confidence remains high that a major winter storm will affect the area over the next several days.

The latest National Weather Service outlook indicates temps Wednesday may be warm enough initially to have some freezing drizzle before changing over to snow.

Total snowfall estimates have declined slightly with the Lincoln area now expected to receive 3-5 inches however the strong winds will still make travel dangerous if not impossible Thursday.

The worst conditions are most likely from Midnight Wednesday to noon Thursday however the cold will remain a factor through mid-day Sunday.
