Lincoln Transportation and Utilities announced Thursday that Snowplow Santa will visit two libraries in Lincoln to deliver holiday cheer from 11 AM to 1:30 PM on Saturday, Dec. 17. Jolly Old St. Nick, however, is putting aside his traditional sleigh in favor of one of Lincoln’s brand new, super-combo snowplows.

From 11 AM to noon, Santa will be at the parking lot of Walt Branch Library at 6701 S 14th St. Santa will then drive down to the Eisely Branch Library at 1530 Superior St, where he’ll be from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.

“He will be waving to people all the way,” Erika Hill, public relations specialist with LTU told KLIN News. “The route is going to be mostly along 27th St from one location all the way to the other.

“Come see Santa, meet Santa, take your pictures with Santa, and then also check out our super-combo snowplows that we just got this season!”
