LFR crews responded to a house fire on Wednesday afternoon in the area of NW 22nd and Q St. While no one was harmed, the blaze managed to cause $125,000 worth in damage.
LFR Captain Nancy Crist says at about 4 PM, firefighters were called to a fire that had begun in the kitchen. The cause of the fire was reported to be bad wiring of a box fan. The house, a single-story brick structure, was under renovations at the time.
