Lincoln Police Department have shared two photos of someone believed to have been involved in at least one of 16 cases of rock vandalism that occurred throughout Dec. 1 to 5. On Wednesday, LPD revealed that they were investigating 16 cases of vandalism involving bricks, rocks, or small chunks of concrete being thrown through windows of homes and apartment complexes.
Of the 16, all but one took place in northeast Lincoln. One of the vandalism incidents occurred in the area of Goodhue and C St on Dec. 4.
“During the follow-up investigation, we were able to gather some surveillance photos of the suspect in that case,” said LPD Captain Todd Kocian. “We’re asking for the public’s assistance in identifying that individual.”
The suspect is described as a man with a mustache wearing black boots, red pants, and a blue hoodie under a gray coat. He also has a “dark-colored stocking cap with a white and blue stripe.”
Kocian stated that the person in the two photos may or may not be connected to the other 15 incidents. Regarding those cases of vandalism, the suspect was described as being a 20–30-year-old man who was wearing black pants and a red sweatshirt with gray sleeves and a stripe.
